One of the artist's first designs, Song Of The Soul was originally sculpted in plaster. The result of making three cuts in a block of plaster perpendicular to one another and three holes perpendicular to one another, this image image is fluid and complex. Before the final cut down the center of the piece was made, it occurred to the artist that the form resembled the ventricles of a human heart. Hence, the name, Song Of The Soul.
