JESSICA depicts a young girl examining a starfish. Sculpted in the classic contrapposto stance, the figure is pensive and graceful, embodying the curiosity of youth. The work was awarded the Charlotte Dunwiddie Memorial Award for a realistic sculpture by New York City’s Pen and Brush Art Club in 2003.
