EMERY was originally part of the Children of the Sea composition sculpted in 1999. The Emery figure was removed in the Fall of 2000 and placed with a Swallowtail Butterfly, creating the Emery limited edition bronze. Emery is symbolic of all youth with a bright future ahead and the swallowtail, in its ability to fly anywhere, symbolizes the unlimited possibilities of this child's future.
